Art Sent Via Disk We prefer art on either ZipDisk (PC format) or CD. Other disk formats can be accepted but may incur
conversion charges. All disk submissions must include a printout of each file. If furnishing a black & white proof of a multi-color job, please indicate color breaks clearly.
Art Sent Via e-mail Files should be sent to artwork@rrwizards.com as e-mail attachments, not
as enclosures. To alert us to your e-mail art transmission, please call us at 800-223-5655.
Black & White or Spot Color Line Art 1. In addition to
CorelDraw (.cdr files), we can also accept Adobe Illustrator (.ai files) saved in version 10.0 or earlier, as well as EPS files.
One important note: EPS files should be saved as such, and not merely renamed as an EPS file. Further, EPS files should be saved as a vector graphic to permit extracting or manipulating individual elements as may be necessary. EPS bitmap images are not suitable as artwork.
2. To avoid problems in reading fonts which may not be in our library, all type should be converted to curves, paths or outline before transmitting. 3.
Multi-color line art should be prepared using Pantone (PMS) spot color designations. Be sure to indicate the exact PMS colors by number. Don’t send files using CMYK or RGB color designation.
Process Color Art or Art with Photographs The line portion of such art should be transmitted as detailed above, with process color elements or photographs
positioned to size in low resolution. Send us individual files of the 4-color art or photos in JPEG or TIFF format at 300 dpi minimum resolution.
